The Council of Representatives held its eighth session of the first term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Speaker Haibat Al-Halbousi, on Wednesday, 11/2/2026. The session included:
_ The taking of the constitutional oath by Mr. Badr Al-Fahl to assume membership of the Council of Representatives after voting to add the item to the agenda.
_ Voting on rejecting the appeals submitted regarding the validity of the membership of MPs Siham Abdulmunim, Zainab Ismail, Imad Yokhana and Haider Ali Mohammed.
