Session Six

 
 

 The Council of Representatives held its sixth session of the first legislative term of the fourth legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle, chaired by Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, First Deputy Speaker of the Council, today Monday, 14/4/2025, in the presence of (178) deputies. The session included:

-Voting on several special ranks, including Mr. Ali Razouqi, Deputy Director of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdul Hamza Hadi, Adviser to the Minister of Electricity, and Mr. Sami Al-Masoudi, Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Authority.

-Voting on the draft law to establish Halabja Governorate in the Republic of Iraq, submitted by the Committees on Regions and Non-Regional Provinces and the Legal Committee.

-The first reading of the proposed law for the first amendment to the Ministry of Education Law No. (22) of 2011.

Nineveh Governorate Conference

 
 

 Madarek Foundation, in cooperation with the Humanitarian alkhat Foundation, launched its report on the performance of the Iraqi House of Representatives and the report of Nineveh Governorate, which documented the work of members of the House of Representatives representing Nineveh Governorate on the White House Hall on Saturday, 4/5/2024, in the presence of many university professors, social figures, dignitaries, as well as a number of government employees in the governorate and the Mayor of Nineveh.
