The Council of Representatives held its twenty-fourth session of the first term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Speaker Haibat Al-Halbousi, on Thursday, 14/5/2026, with (266) in attendance. The session included voting on the ministerial program and granting confidence to the government of Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi as Prime Minister along with fourteen ministers.
