The Nineteenth Session

The Council of Representatives held its nineteenth session of the first legislative term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by First Deputy Speaker Adnan Faihan, on Monday, 21/4/2026, with (183) MPs in attendance. The session included:

_ First reading of the proposed National Water Council Law, submitted by the Agriculture, Water Resources, Marshlands and Environment Committee.

_ First reading of the proposed Arbitration Law, submitted by the Legal Affairs Committee.

_ Voting on a parliamentary resolution concerning the state of the agricultural plan, the mechanism for receiving the wheat crop, and supporting farmers and cultivators
