The Council of Representatives held its sixteenth session of the first term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Speaker Haibat Al-Halbousi, on Wednesday, 8/4/2026. The session included voting on the members of seven parliamentary committees, the first reading of the proposed Fifth Amendment Law to the Civil Aviation Law No. (148) of 1974, and the first reading of the proposed Law of Governorates Not Incorporated into a Region.
