The Council of Representatives held its first resumed session of the first term, within the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, presided over by Mr. Amer al-Fayez, the eldest member, today, Tuesday, December 30, 2025. With 309 deputies in attendance, the session included the election of MP Farhad Amin al-Atroushi as the Deputy Speaker of the Council.
