On (20/3/2023), the House of Representatives held its fifteenth session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Halbousi in the presence of (171) and the session included:

- Voting on seven articles out of 15 articles in the law, which came in implementation of the decisions of the Federal Court No. (155/federal/2019 and its units 157, 160, 161, 162, 167, 168, 171/2019, 5/federal 2021, 159/federal/2021, 43/federal 2021, 117/federal 2019, 87 and its units, 111, 112/federal 2019, 103/federal, 2021, 144/federal 2021) and to hold free, honest and fair elections for the Iraqi House of Representatives and provincial councils that are not organized in a region, elevate them, and the participation of all segments of society and ensuring Fair distribution of seats among competing lists.

- The House of  Representatives decided to resume voting on the proposed law next Saturday.
