On (29/4/2024), the House of Representatives held its twenty-second session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of the First Deputy, Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of (167) Representatives, and the session included:

-Voting on the proposed law on the first amendment to the Law Regulating Human Organ Transplantation No. (11) of 2016 submitted by the Health and Environment Committee.

Part of the session was chaired by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, Vice-Speaker

-First reading of the proposed law on the organization of trade unions of workers and artisanal employees in Iraq submitted by the Legal Committee;

-First reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Kigali Protocol of 2016, the Fifth Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer of 1987 to the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer of 1985, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

-First reading of the proposed law amending the Third Amendment Act to the Law on Compensation for Victims Who Lost Part of Their Bodies as a Result of the Practices of the Former Regime No. (5) of 2009, as amended, submitted by the Committee of Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners.

-First reading of the proposed law amending the Second Law on the Political Prisoners Institution Act No. (4) of 2006, as amended, submitted by the Committee on Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners.

-The second reading of the proposed law on the first amendment to the law on the foundations of equivalence of Arab and foreign certificates and degrees No. (20) of 2020, submitted by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee.

After that, it was decided to adjourn the session
