On (27/4/2024), the House of Representatives held its twentieth session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle, headed by First Vice-Speaker Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of (170) Representatives, and the session included:
-Voting on adding the paragraph of electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the agenda of the session at the request of 150 Representatives.
-Voting on the proposed law amending the First Anti-Prostitution and Homosexuality Act No. 8 of 1988, submitted by the Legal Committee.
Part of the session was chaired by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, Vice-Speaker of the House
-The first reading of the draft law on the restitution of real estate to its owners covered by some decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council submitted by the Legal Committee.
Then it was decided to adjourn the session until tomorrow, Sunday |
