On (17/7/2023), the House of Representatives held its second session of the second legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Mohsen Al-Mandalawi in the presence of (171), and the session included:

 

-First reading of the National Intelligence Service bill submitted by the Security and Defense Committee.

-First reading of the draft anti-terrorism law, submitted by the legal, security, defense and human rights committees.

-First reading of the draft law of the Army Aviation College submitted by the Security and Defense Committee

-First reading of the draft law on the ratification of the agreement on the exemption of holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from entry visas between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Russian Federation, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.
