 On (2/12/2024), the House of Representatives held its eighteenth session of the second legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, in the presence of (193) Representatives, and the session included:

 

-Voting on the proposed law amending the Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959.

-Voting on the draft law on the restitution of real estate covered by some decisions of the Revolutionary Command Council (dissolved) submitted by the Legal Committee.

-Voting on the draft law on the second amendment to the General Amnesty Law No. (27) of 2016 submitted by the legal, security and defense, and human rights committees.

Then it was decided to adjourn the session to tomorrow, Tuesday, due to the imbalance of the quorum.
