On (26/11/2024), the House of Representatives held its seventeenth session of the second legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, in the presence of (168) Representatives, and the session included:
-Vote on extending its legislative term for one month.
-Voting on the lifting of the voting paragraph on the draft law on the ratification of the Air Transport Services Agreement between the Government of Iraq and the Government of the Russian Federation from the agenda.
-Voting to approve the handing over of Mr. Halo Mustafa Kaka Reza as Minister of Environment in the current government and taking the oath of office, after agreeing to add the paragraph to the agenda of the session.
-First reading of the draft law regulating the rights of victims of Ibn al-Khatib Hospital, victims of Al- Naqaa Centre and victims of the Hamdaniya incident, submitted by the Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners Committees, and Health and the Environment.
