 On (24/7/2024), the House of Representatives held its third session of the second legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle, headed by the First Vice-Speaker. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of (194) Representatives, and the session included:

- Voting on the draft law amending the twenty-first of the staff Law No. 25 of 1960 submitted by the Finance Committee.

Part of the session was chaired by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, Vice-speaker of the house

- First reading of the draft law on service and retirement for the fighters of the Popular Mobilization Committee submitted by the committees of security, defense, legal, financial, martyrs, victims and political prisoners.

- Voting on the formation of a temporary parliamentary committee to implement the parliamentary code of conduct, provided that its members are selected in consultation with the heads of parliamentary blocs.

- Postponing the first reading of the proposed law amending the Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959 submitted by the Legal Committees and Women, Family and Childhood based on a parliamentary request submitted to the Presidency of the Council.

- Postponing the first reading of the draft arbitration law submitted by the investment, development, legal, and financial committees.

After that, it was decided to adjourn the meeting
