Session Details

 On  (16/4/2024)  the House of Representatives held its nineteenth session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of the First vice Speaker , Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of  (171)  Representatives , and the session included:

-Postponing the vote on the draft law on the first amendment to the Property Claims Authority Law No. (13)  of 2010 submitted by the Legal Committee.

-Postponing the vote on the draft law amending the first law of the Iraqi Housing Fund Law No. (32)  of 2011, submitted by the Services and Reconstruction Committee.

Part of the  session was chaired by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, Vice-speaker of the  House.

-First reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

-Second reading of the draft law regulating renewable energy submitted by the Electricity and Energy, Health and Environment and Legal Committees.

 

After that, it was decided to adjourn the session to tomorrow, Wednesday
