Session Details

 On (12/2/2024), the House of Representatives held its sixth session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Speaker Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi in the presence of (168) representatives, and the session included:


- Mr. Habib Hashem Abd Ali Al-Dulaimi was sworn in to occupy the membership of the House instead of the resigned representative Adnan Faihan Al-Dulaimi based on a letter issued by the Independent High Electoral Commission.

- First reading of the draft law amending the first traffic law No. (8) of 2019, submitted by the Security and Defense Committee.
 
- First reading of the proposed law amending the first law of human organ transplantation and prevention of trafficking No. (11) of 2016, submitted by the Health, Environment, Security, Defense, Human Rights and Legal Committees.

Part of the session was chaired by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, Vice-Speaker of the House

- Second reading of the draft law on the ratification of the Agreement on Mutual Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic Passports between the Government of Iraq and the Government of South Korea, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

After that, it was decided to adjourn the session until tomorrow, Tuesday.
