 The House of Representatives held its sixth session of the second semester of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral session under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, Acting Speaker of the House on Tuesday 6/8/2024, and in the presence of (194) Representatives, which included the following session:

-Voting on the draft law on the registration of births and deaths submitted by the Health and Environment Committee.

-Postponing the vote on the proposed law on the first amendment to the Law on the Foundations of Equivalence of Arabic and Foreign Certificates and Degrees No. (20) of 2020, submitted by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee.

-Voting on the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives of 2015, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

-The second reading of the proposed law on the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate submitted by the Labour Committees and civil society organizations, and the legal ones.
